isolation for life at my children's hospital. SO if they are readmitted to PICU or any of the acute care floors they are always on isolation
Parents tend not to mind either. While my NICU has about 48 of 56 rooms private and the rest of the hospital has majority private rooms there are a FEW paired rooms, MRSA kids are never in double rooms so they are always guaranteed a private room. Heck I wish I came up MRSA positive when I was inpatient because my roommate on the floor (I had been in a private ICU rm prior) was no peach

Do your colonized babies ever get out of isolation? if so, after how many negative cultures?
