Mpls. hospitals not hiring?

A new hire at our out-state hospital graduated from the U of M with a BSN, and then couldn't find a hospital that was hiring! She came back home, and are always hiring (it seems).

Is it true that there is no shortage in the Cities?:confused:

At Abbott Northwestern, at least in the ICU's they are hiring. I worked 60 hours the other week as we were short staffed.

I have just recently been told that most hospitals in the Minneapolis area are not hiring from outside the hospital.
