Moving To Tampa from NY _ Tampa Gen Rates?

Hello,

I'm in the process of selling my home here in NY and will be moving to Tampa hopefully within this year. I currently work in Northshore University Hospital in Manhasset and would like to know what are the starting rates for experienced ICU nurses (8 years) in Tampa General Hospital. Any info is appreciated. Thank you.

Actually for the best money agency nursing is the way to go. Theres several in the Tampa/St Pete area. Alot of them also pay benefits if thats an issue - ie spouse not providing them. I know of one agency that pays in the $35-40 hr range. From the ship postings I have seen in the last couple weeks there definately isnt lacking in work. PM me if you want specifics.

I work for a travel company and have seen some postings for psych nurses, We needed one in Montana for the last two years and did not have one to send. I dont have all my postings in front of me right now but I know of one opening in a 20 bed unit in North Carolina. Where would you want to travel to?
