I believe they do but it is very competitive because they have their own school of nursing. However a good thing about Philly is there are a lot of hospitals in the area

And there is st.Chris for peds as well.

i know that both penn and chop have hired graduate nurses in the past. given the oversupply of nurses in the phila area however, that may no longer be the case. there was a recent posting at hahnemann that said they would consider gns (i posted on this page about this) and i've heard that there are occasional openings at temple and einstein.

don't want to discourage you but the reality is that the nursing job market in phila is pretty tough right now and the competition for openings is pretty stiff. remember that in addition to the community and junior colleges in the area (at least 4) there are more than 10 colleges/universities offering bsns in just the city and surrounding 3 counties. this means literally thousands of new nurses looking chasing relatively few openings right now.

If interested, I do have one office environment consulting job in berwyn, pa that requires an RN. Email me, [email protected]

CHOP and Penn both hire new grads- you have to check their sites regularly for job postings and apply right away when you see a job listing that accepts new grads. They told us at a recruitment event that they get about 200+ applications in the first DAY of a new job being posted.
