Moved NCLEX up by 6 days

Okay, I just moved the NCLEX up by 6 days. Am I crazy?

Here is the story:

I originally signed up for a February 17th test date with an 8:00 am start.

Remembering that I am not a morning person at all, I thought it might be wise to test a little later in the day. So, I went on Pearson Vue to look for later test times in the month of February. The only date that was available was 6 days early than my original date and I went with it. So, now I am testing on Feb 11th with a 1:30 pm start time.

Do you think going to the NCLEX well rested is worth loosing 6 extra days of studying?

I should add: I am in my second week of the Kaplan course and I have been doing above average on the question trainers and question bank.

Thanks everyone and keep up the good work! :)

Goodluck!!! you can do it!!!

Just keep studying! I left myself 4 weeks to study. Into my 3rd week I felt ready to take it. I wish I would have moved mine up, but it is this Friday. :) Good luck!!!

Thanks caring422!

I will keep studying. Glad I'm not the only one that moved it up/wanted to move it up.

Good luck on Friday! You will pass! WOOHOO! :)

Good luck to both of you! Make sure that you guys are well rested the night before the test. :banghead:

Thanks winsome08! With a 1:30 pm start time, I'm sure I'll be able to get some good zzzzzzzz's. :)

You did the right thing!! Absolutely. I think the longer you are out of the school the worse off you are.

Thank you Edie10! You've boosted my confidence in my decision up a few notches. :)
