Moved back home now thinking of moving out again

I just moved back home in Jan from another state, had a wonderful job on an ltac floor, learned a lot, worked there for 2 years exactly

I was excited to move back home to NJ and even had a job lined up on a tele floor. Moving wasn't easy for me since I was alone but I did it.

I started my new job in NJ and was told by my supervisor after 2 months she has to let me go, she said it was due to an error on my part but then she stated she could tell I am depressed and she has to let me go. Never had somebody tell me that before.

And I admit I made a few errors but I was still in orientation and every week I kept getting written up for things such as does not communicate effectively to dr's , goes on break too early, did not answer one call light...ect. It was things that I could have improved on but definitely not be fire for.

I am now broke, can't even find a job in a nursing here here in nj. Tried home health, hospice, nursing homes..ect they all turn me down bc I never worked in that setting before.

I'm miserable and thinking of moving out of state again and begging for my old job to take me back. I started working on my bsn here in nj but feel it will be no good if I go to school for 1 year and not work. I am losing my experience and have no money

Should I stay here and get my bsn but probably be out of work for at least a year? Thanks

Wow, I am sorry to hear that. You should really try going through an agency. They always require 2 years of experience to place you and they work really hard to get you something once you are open to what they offer. You can stay in NJ too, agency isn't always travel. I know you said you have your ASN but as I said they will work hard for you. Put your resume on Indeed.com or Monster. com.

I do not think you should take time off, it will look bad on you even though you are in school. Even if you are doing per diem work just stay working. Good luck!
