Nursing Students School Programs
Published May 2, 2019
Hello everyone I am just starting a thread to see if anyone else plans on applying to Mountain View in the fall for spring 2020. Or anyone who goes there how many points should I strive for to get into the programs. Hope to hear from y’all.

Ok so how long is this actual program? I know online it says 18 months. But I’m the chart at the bottom of the email it said something about 24 months. I’m not sure what that means or if it even applies to us. But I am curious.

So, I received an email about my application being incomplete. The reason I was given was the CPR was not from the American Heart Association.
I took this class at Mountain View it is a BSL hybrid for Health Providers and the instructor assured everyone that it was tied to the AHA.
So this gives me more time to work on my application and as a friend told me work and save as much as I can before starting.
I am still going to the info session. I want to wish you all good luck.
Any advice?

I am so sorry your application was incomplete. I received my CPR from CPR education 9550 Forest Ln Suite 213 Dallas, TX 75243. They even have Saturday appointments available. Hope this helps. Best of luck for the following semester & best of luck to all of us that are applying for Spring 2020!!

Hi guys, I also applied for the spring 2020 at MVC. I only have 17 points. I am taking pharmacology and microbiology right now. I hope to be called in at least for an interview. I will apply at Brookhaven also. I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket. I was gonna apply to El Centro because they were able to increase their passing rate for year 2018 but I didn't realized it was already closed by the time I was done with all the paperworks to be submitted. Best of luck to everybody!

Personally, I would try to dispute this and use your evidence that the school advertised this CPR class as AHA certified. Better to try than not try.
