Tarrant county college Nursing fall 2020
it depends on how fast you are. I think as short as 9 to 10 months to finish because after ADN and 4 classes from MSU you only need 6 more classes from them to finish.

They accept 150 students per semester and they have a concurrent agreement with MSU Flower Mound where in you can take classes for BSN while doing your ADN. By the time you graduate your ADN you already finished 4 classes from MSU. Application for nursing is until March 31st.

Tarrant county college Nursing fall 2020
Their classes are spread out evenly which I liked because I need to work during the program. The first semester (fall) is 3 classes like mountain view and brookhaven (Fundamentals, clinical and skills), Second semester (spring) is only 2 classes (medsurg and clinical), 3rd semester which is done in the first summer is 2 classes (mental health and clinical), 4th semester is divided into two; first 8 weeks will peds and clinical and the second 8 weeks will be ob and clinical, 5th which is the last semester is 2 classes (critical care and clinical). The set up is not too crowded unlike Brookhaven and mountain view. In comparison mountain view and brookhaven 1st semester--3 classes (fundamentals, clinical and skills) 2nd semester-5 classes (medsurg and clinical, mental health and clinical, nursing skills 2) 3rd semester--ob and clinical, peds and clinical 4th semester- critical care and clinical. ALL 16 weeks each semester.

So only HESI scores are used to rank applicants for FALL 2020. Also, this time around they are not accepting paper application, everything will be online. Anyway I got 93.60 on the HESI, I hope that is competitive to get in. I applied to Brookhaven and Mountain View last Spring20 application, I got accepted for both but ended up withdrawing because I liked the TCC set up on how they distributed classes. I think TCC is setting student up for success. Good y'all! What HESI score does everybody got?

Fall 2020 Mountain View Nursing Program Applicants
You can take them before nursing school and Brookhaven will give you 6 points for them. MVC at least when I applied does not give points for those 2 classes. RN to BSN at Texas Tech has 10 courses so when you are finished with those 2 courses, you will only have 8 more to gt to graduate.

Fall 2020 Mountain View Nursing Program Applicants
You can apply as soon as you can even if you are still applying to either MVC or Brookhaven. These are the 2 DCCCD colleges they have agreement with. Texas tech El Paso will allow you to take 2 classes from them pending your RN license.

Fall 2020 Mountain View Nursing Program Applicants
I just got in to MVC spring 2020 and Brookhaven but I chose MVC. I had 17 points when I applied to MVC and 28.60 to Brookhaven. Be sure you have as many prerequisites done as you can, it will help with points. Try to apply to Texas Tech El Paso CENP program also. This will help when they look at your application because they will ask for your plans after ADN if you go straight to BSN. Good luck!

Mountain View Spring 2020 application.
some of their classes only last for 5 weeks or 6 weeks with the same amount of coursework and the same amount of material to be covered. Thats why I said it is too congested for me, I need to work while in the program at least part time

Mountain View Spring 2020 application.
After careful brainstorming, I have found out that Brookhaven is too fast-paced for me. There are classes that are only 5 weeks and 6 weeks with the same amount of information to digest and also the same amount of coursework to be completed. While I will be working part time during the program I think MVC is the best option. I have decided to pursue MVC. Also I heard that some faculty members at Brookhaven are too uptight, recording the lecture are not even allowed, even laptop computers are not allowed not unless the course uses an ebook.

Mountain View Spring 2020 application.
yes I have decided to go to Brookhaven.. Good luck everyone.

Mountain View Spring 2020 application.
Actually Brookhaven is 16 months which is 4 semesters 16 weeks each semester which is the same in the case of mountain view. MVC is 18 months with summers off. Brookhaven does not have summers off.

Mountain View Spring 2020 application.
The only thing that throw me off about mvc is the grading system, they have so high standards. I am in between mvc and brookhaven. I am going to decide between the 2 on the 31st. Trying to weigh options.

Mountain View Spring 2020 application.
Hi guys so I have a question about the grading system of MVC, I hope to get answers from someone who is in the program.. Is 84 considered a C? if so isn't that too high?
