Published

Hello everyone I am just starting a thread to see if anyone else plans on applying to Mountain View in the fall for spring 2020. Or anyone who goes there how many points should I strive for to get into the programs. Hope to hear from y’all.

Who did you call? I need to confirm she got my application. I just slipped it under the door in H25

Just email SD. she replied immediately yesterday after I slipped it under the door. Like 1 hr max. And ahe confirmed my application. When i passed by H25 around 12-1:30 no one was there. A nursing teacher informed me to slip it under Ms. Sch door. There was a sign on her door stating if you are here to drop off nursing applications slip it under my door. I do not remember the door number but it wasnt H25 nor SD door it was 2 doors down to the right of H25. I always call but never get a response but if you email you will get a response.

Good luck to us all! Maybe we could meet up if we get chosen for the interview and practice mock interview questions with each other in preparation for the real thing.

They sent out email .about 124 applications and 50 will be selected .anyone going for the information section on 6 September?

Idk really know. From the past forums i have read that students with 13 points get in and the highest is 25 points. So it varies. The interview plays a big role in acceptance.

I have 23 pts.

I also received an e-mail. I hope I can make it to the information session. They didn’t specify when the e-mail will be sent only that interviews will be held on Sep 23-27. Hopefully next week or the week after we get an e-mail?

I as well received the email. I do remember that when I had applied for fall 2019, they notified for an interview a week or so before the interview date. Hopefully we all get in! And yes I’ll be at the info session. ?

I am also will be there . The more informed I am the better.

Hi All,

I submitted my app for MVC last week. It was all last minute because I was planning to wait until January. I completed my AS at MVC in the Spring and currently taking Statistics & Pharmacology. I applied with 15 points and a cumulative score of 87% on the HESI. I believe my application will probably not go through because like I said it was all last minute. I had to run and get the titer test and I was immune to all except Varicella so I need a second dose. Also, I did not get a flu shot. Everything else was there. Shooting for a B in pharmacology that will gain me another 2 points for when I reapply. I am going to the Info session on the 6th. Just wanted to post here and share so I can get a better understanding of the process. I’ve worked so hard to get to this point over the years as I’m sure you all have. MVC is the only school I applied for but I’ll try to apply to as many schools a possible the next round.

Wishing you all the best of luck!
