Mountain View College Spring 2019

Hi all! Haven't seen one for Spring application yet and I have some questions so I thought I'd start this!

It says on the app that we need closed transcripts from all previous schools. What if we have one on file with admissions, does this count? Only one of my classes is from an out of state school and on econnect it shows transfer equivalent. I have an email in to Self-Drake asking but thought maybe someone would know sooner. TIA!

Not sure ! Maybe Jan 2019 , when they get this years NCLEX pass rate.. according to ACEN website the NCLEX pass rate is a factor and MVC was approved to be reviewed Jan 2018.. MVC has a relatively high NCLEX pass rate so I think they'll get approved.. it would be great if they become ACEN when we graduate!

Definitely! I have been looking into it after you mentioned it and I would need it to be nationally accredited because we may end up moving to another state and I would need my license to transfer! And I heard that all 28 students passed their NCLEX so they may have 100%! Hopefully they get approved!

if I am not mistaken it is one semester before we graduate. Sometime in 2020.

I agree ! I plan on travel nursing after I obtain my BSN ! It being nationally accredited is a must! But, I believe if we get into a program that accepts non ACEN students like TECH, UTA and TWU, we'll become ACEN.. I think that's how that works ? Well one hurdle at a time, let's just get accepted! I'm sure , *fingers crossed* it becomes ACEN by time we graduate!
