Mountain View College Spring 2019

Hi all! Haven't seen one for Spring application yet and I have some questions so I thought I'd start this!

It says on the app that we need closed transcripts from all previous schools. What if we have one on file with admissions, does this count? Only one of my classes is from an out of state school and on econnect it shows transfer equivalent. I have an email in to Self-Drake asking but thought maybe someone would know sooner. TIA!

I guess we wont hear anything over the weekend...give my refresh fingers a break from checking my email. lol

It will be Monday I emailed Drake and the automatic message came back saying interview notification will be Monday

AHHHHH!!! Monday can't come soon enough!! I'm still nervous though! I'm hoping that even though my points are low that my good grades will help! When she looked at my transcripts and stuff she said well, when you start you'll have to take these classes in your first semester so hopefully that means my grades caught her attention!!!!

How many points did you have and what is your GPA? I have little points too as a&p2 is my only support class

My points were low too...I had 16 points on her ranking sheet, but was told that should be enough to get an interview...fingers crossed.

3.9 and like 13 or 14 points. I'm currently taking A&P 2!

All of us will get in watch and see!! I have followed several Mountain View nursing threads and I have actually watched the point system as to see who all makes it in. I always see the lowest number acceptable is 13 points. So I'm sure all of have about 13 points and up. We all are going to make it watch and see!!

They accepted around 74 students last semester but had a large number of applicants. I'm wondering if they're thinking of taking more this semester too! Really praying today that tomorrow, prayers are answered!!

Yea but this time they didn't get quite as many applicants so everybody should be i this semester. But it's always like this- fall application process always has a larger number than Spring. I just hope they don't procrastinate on the interview process.
