Mountain View College Nursing Fall '17

Hello everyone!

Just trying to see if there's anyone out there applying to Mountain View College (Dallas, TX) nursing program and if so have you gotten an email back for an interview?! I did, and I'm a little nervous! I hope I get in. I've been trying for years now to get on the nursing track and I finally feel like I may finally have a real shot! Good luck to all you nursing majors out there!

Were you able to register for all your classes or just pharm?

Hello, I am applying for the MVC nursing program for Fall 2018, can someone that got accepted share with me how many points you had before going into the interview? I feel like I do not have enough points to be accepted but then again, I am not sure what a satisfactory score is. Thank you in advance.

hello everyone! yes i too am applying for fall 2018 and feel like i don't have many points to get accepted. Also, do you guys have any pointers on taking the HESI for the math section? I seem to not do well on the world problems dealing with conversions.

Hello didi and everyone! I found this website and have been reading the conversation for support and general information. I am applying for the fall 2018 admission and am extremely nervous about getting in because I have not taken patho or pharmacology, but i have taken microbiology. I am waiting to retake my HESI for a higher score? Any study tips? Hope y'all first semester went great!

If nothing has changed, I was told there was no minimum, but anything under 10 points is low. Hope that helps!

Hi! As long as you have all your prereqs completed, you should be fine. The rest of the courses will most likely be spread throughout the semesters or during summer.

Ok I've completed everything except path and pharmacology. I would like to take one of them in the summer 2018. I also graduated from TWU in May 2016 maybe that'll help me a bit. May I ask what was your HESI scores for each section?

Hey guys! I am applying for Fall 18 as well/ My HESI has expired so I have to retake and I think I took the wrong PHED :( Anyone know what the interview is like? What about the nursing program it self?
