Hi there, Trying to reapply to Mountain View for the fall 2019. I got denied for the spring. I do not give up that easy so i am trying my luck once more.Hopefully they will consider me the second time.I will schedule an appointment with the admin to know where i went wrong. I decided to start a thread this early so we can help one another and finally share a classroom together.
This time I am applying to as many schools as possible.
So the NCTC requires teas, anyone done the test? I need tips.
It does not look like calls are going out today. So they are just going to have one week to call and set up interviews? I wonder if they will extend the interviews out past the 22nd? That does not give much time for us to make arrangements for our interviews. So glad my employer is understanding.

I believe the nursing offices are closed on Fridays. Most likely notifications will be after Spring Break. I wish it was today. I let my employer know ahead of time as well in case I need to call off. Going to take this time to decompress. The anticipation is killing me!

That is good to know. Well we have a week to attempt relaxation. I know we are all anxious. I can not wait to see those “I got a call” messages. Anyone able to confirm the number of applicants?
This is very tragic. But seeing the vast majority of you all remaining so understanding after all of these setbacks is very inspiring. Do you think they call everyone back? Or just those who will be getting an interview?

Honestly speaking to prior students this seems to be a trend. Calls and emails always happen after they state it is going to happen. So positivety is the only thing I can offer. I just wish it was more clear cut.
So while we are all anxiously awaiting our interview calls, let’s talk about our scores! I applied with a 16 and I’m so nervous that it’s not going to cut it. I was really hoping we were going to get calls today, waiting a whole week is going to really stress me out. What were y’alls scores?

So Mountain View does not go by your GPA, they go by their points system. It’s basically a calculation of the prerequisites needed to apply and you’re HESI score! I’ll attach some screenshots from the nursing website for you to look at. Good luck!!
