Hi there, Trying to reapply to Mountain View for the fall 2019. I got denied for the spring. I do not give up that easy so i am trying my luck once more.Hopefully they will consider me the second time.I will schedule an appointment with the admin to know where i went wrong. I decided to start a thread this early so we can help one another and finally share a classroom together.
This time I am applying to as many schools as possible.
So the NCTC requires teas, anyone done the test? I need tips.
So Mountain View does not go by your GPA, they go by their points system. It’s basically a calculation of the prerequisites needed to apply and you’re HESI score! I’ll attach some screenshots from the nursing website for you to look at. Good luck!!
Oh wow then according to this if I am right I should have about 22 points and 1 for hesi I made a 87
Based off of the prereqs I have 15pts, with Hesi I have 16 points. I have all of my BSN courses completed except for microbiology. Which the director stated they do look at. I made 82 camulative. I believe I have 4.0 on prereqs and 3.4 on all course load.

I think you have to have micro completed to apply? Did you apply for fall 2019?
Ohh yeah sorry my mistake! It’s just gives extra points for your application if you have it done!

Okay so English comp 1, college algebra, intro to psych, A&P 1 & 2 are absolutely needed to apply. Then if you’ve completed micro, pharm, or patho by the deadline you get extra points! Hope this helps.
