This is a new thread for anyone that has applied to the Mount St. Mary's College Accelerated BSN program in Los Angeles for 2010 entry.
This is my second application for admission since I wasn't offered admission for Fall 2009. Did anyone hear anything back yet for Spring 2010? Is there an interview process? I have read conflicting information on this topic. I also applied to Samuel Merritt in the Bay Area (also turned down twice to 2 programs for Fall 2009 entry). They wont be sending out admission offers until February for March start dates!! Would love to hear from fellow nursing school hopefuls )
I am trying to! I just need to know because I accepted the invitation to SDSU and I need to let them know if I am not coming to open the spot up for someone else that is dying to get into nursing school like I am. I hope I get one. My last class is finished tomorrow night. I am praying every night, and day, and afternoon...LOL you get the point!
Wow.....2 e-mails have gone out and I haven't received one yet. I think I am going to take that as I didn't get in. Does anyone know if they send out rejection letters?
I am feeling the same way. No one will respond to my email. I am freaking out and feel really down in the dumps. I am praying that more emails will go out. I just wish we knew how many they were sending at a time. If it is one at a time we are safe, but if it is a list of 20 as they have said in previous posts, things aren't looking so good for us. So frustrating and tiresome, but I am still hoping. If I don't get anything by Friday, I am going to accept my defeat and know it wasn't meant to be even though it will totally suck:eek:
But, since they given us a rejection letter or posted we are denied in our account status, I am just holding out and hoping they are slow.
Any one that has gotten an email...can you see how many people it was addressed to our are they doing it individually? Sometime you have to hit forward for it to show up. Thanks for the help guys!
I tried to check and see if it lists any other people, but they must have hidden (BCC) any other email addresses to protect identies/ privacy, etc. I'm sure they will be sending more notifications soon in the next few weeks! Atleast you have already been accepted to one program!
Sorry for the slow reply, I had class tonight. This time around it looks like they are blocking emails (which is the nicer thing to do) by using the BCC.
This is my first reactivation go around, as I was denied for May cohort.
Does anyone know if the Taylor class is using the same books as others have used in the past? Is anyone willing to sell me theirs or send me a list of the books so I can get a head start as I haven't received any materials yet. Maybe tomorrow since I signed up on Monday.
If you google "Taylor University Bioethics," it should be the first link. When you look at the course catalog, the book list is at the bottom of the page. Or if you click on "Books and Materials" and find the class (Phil 410E), it will have a link to buy them online.
