Hi! I'm applying too! I *JUST* looked into it last night as I was finishing up some apps for ELMSN programs. And.. I just noticed that they need international transcripts as well.. so damn I need to get working on that pronto since their deadline is March 15. Too bad the UK's 8 hours ahead cuz I'm pumped to get this thing going!
Am very excited about MSMC. Heard tons of great things about them and never thought I'd actually have a chance of going there. Do you need a TEAS for this btw?
Hi DonnaH,
Welcome! I'm sure our numbers will grow as people start getting their applications together....
You do not need a TEAS for MSMC, but if you are offered admission to the program they do have some kind of math test that you have to pass (I think w/ 80% or higher??). It's supposedly a pretty easy test...
Are you from the UK?
Good luck on your application! I'm very excited about this program too. I've heard some mixed reviews, but much more on the good side. I think every nursing program has some glitches in some shape or form and this one will be no different. But the overwhelming response is that it is highly regarded, intense, and really good.
Take care!
I'm not from the UK... I just did a study abroad program there. My grades got converted to fulfill my Bachelor's but MSMS requires ALL transcripts, so I've got to get those too. Just a little worried because I have a little over a month to get that done.
LovinNP, were your grades from studying abroad included on your undergrad transcript? Mine were (UC Education Abroad Program) and I double checked with Mary Sloper at the info session about it. She said that if your grades are included on your home university's transcript, then you don't have to request transcripts from the foreign university.
Good luck, everyone!
I almost gave up even applying.. thanks so much levoila!!

I called today because a few items were listed as missing on the webadvisor website. Your transcripts/letters of reference will be accepted as long as they are postmarked by March 15. The 15th is a Sunday, so I assume that the actual deadline is going to be by March 14.
I'm not sure if you had a chance to go to an info session, but in case you didn't, know that for the essay, you don't have to combine the questions into one coherent essay. Mary Sloper made it clear that each question should be addressed separately.
Good luck!!
