Applying to MSMC's 2011 absn program? Yeah, me too. Just wanted to hearing from others in the same boat.

I found out on 11/18/10 that I was "denied to college".

Unfortunately I'm serious. I'm going to call them on Monday to find out more about it and see if I can start the re-activation process. I have a feeling it has something to do with the religion and bio-ethics classes that I haven't completed yet.

For those that got denied on their first try definitely reactivate! You will be put into a separate selection group. Listen to everything they tell you to do in your meeting with the advisor. Most people that reactivate are selected.
For those that are still awaiting a letter or notice on Webadvisor, be prepared to start school in May.
hi sugarlips!
i hate the waiting and anticipating! i haven't heard ANYTHING from the school since i've turned in my application! a couple people on this thread said they received a letter in the mail stating that the school received their application, but i never received anything, but i check webadvisor every day and my status still says complete-in review or something like that. i'm sure the wait before the interview is far less worse than the wait AFTER the interview, but i'm nervous as to see if i even get an interview!

Hi All!
I've applied also to MSMC 2011 ABSN. When will we be hearing back?! The wait is killer... Good luck to all!
If you haven't gotten a denial message on WebAdvisor, that is a good sign. Since school doesn't start until May, you may be getting your interviews in late February or early March.
current August ABSN
Yes, I'm hoping. "Sugarlips"-- what's your story? Have you applied as well?
Hey! I'm from around the Ventura County area as well and have applied to MSMC'S ABSN PROGRAM for 2011. Good luck to you! Have you heard anything back from them yet??
Hi Leah Beth! Welcome to the thread! No, I have heard absolutely nothing from the school yet, what about you??

For those of you that were denied, definitely apply again. Kim ("sugarlips") is right- if you're denied or waitlisted, there's still a good chance that you can still get in the program at some point.
Im a current absn student who had a 3.4 gpa with micro, bible as lit and bioethics in progress when I applied. You guys sound smart. I'm sure you're chances of getting accepted are high.
Ps. I know that there are some current "anonymous" absn lurkers out there who aren't contributing to this thread!
