Mount St. Mary ABSN Fall 2019

Hi I wanted to start this topic/group for everyone applying to Mount St. Mary's ABSN Fall 2019. Since applications are due 3/1/2019 I thought it'd be helpful to start this application journey now!

I have science courses that are still in progress till end of July which is worrying me but still worth a try! Anyone has in progress courses? How far are you in your application?

Hi! Glad I found this thread. I applied for Fall too! I have science classes in progress until July as well, Micro now and Physiology in Summer, so I'm hoping it doesn't affect me too much. Now we just have to wait!

Also I read that if you are invited to the math test that they send out a practice exam, so hopefully that helps!

I applied to their direct nursing Bsn program and was asked to take a pre nursing assessment exam this weekend. Did anyone else here attend that? Does anyone know if they send out emails in regards to acceptance?

Yay! I hope we all get in! Im currently taking microbio & anatomy and for summer I have physio!

When/how do you plan on sending your progress report(?) grades? Should we just email them a copy of our current grade report? When I spoke with the nursing admin they said to send grade mid-way.

Hi! I called and spoke to someone in admissions today and they advised that we don't have to send progress reports. All we have to do is send our official transcripts when we are done with our classes.

Good to know! My college doesn't do progress report grades so not sure what I would have done! Has anyone heard anything regarding the math exam? I was reading last year's thread and it looks like invitations were sent out around this time. Curious to know!

I talked to someone from previous cohorts and she said it may even be as May! So I guess all we can do is wait for some contact from the school >_>

I also spoke to admission over the phone & they just to send transcripts again when final grades post - which for me is end June! I feel like that so late b/c from previous thread people got their admission results end of June/beginning of July!

Anyways I hope we hear back sooner than later!!!

Has anyone received anything yet ? It seems that the previous cohorts started to receive test dates around this time.

Hi, did you hear anything yet? They said they started to send out interview invitation already.

Me too have two science classes in progress. I'm afraid this will affect their decision. Did you hear from them recently？

I haven't heard anything about the math exam or interview! But it seems like no one else on here has either. I did just call and they said that invites are going out in waves and haven't been fully processed yet. Hopefully that means ours just haven't gone out yet!

Thanks! I’m so anxious because they sent out math invitations around early April in the past years. I called and they told me the final decision will be made between May and June.
