Hi, I am also planning on applying for the Fall cohort. I have all my science classes completed, but I have the religious studies class, philosophy and psychology class to take. Hopefully that's not an issue when applying.

Hi! I think you should be fine because the admissions people I spoke with said science classes are more of a priority! But doesnt hurt to double check with them! Have you taken any additinal math courses?

No, the only math I took was statistics. Have you submitted your application? If so, do you know if you can go back and update it, or make any changes? I haven't submitted mine, and I am afraid that I won't be able to make any changes if need be. I just want to submit it so my references can get the link already. Besides the pre reqs, do you or anyone else have any previous nursing experience or volunteer work? If any one that has graduated or is in the program could please tell us about the math test?

Hello! Yes I submitted my application. The ooptions after submitting are 1)Review application 2) Withdraw application 3) Start a new application. I believe you cannot edit afterwards but one thing you can change is IF your recommender didnt send recommendation yet, you have option to change recommender.

Your recommenders still can get an email invite for recommendations without you submitting the application as long as you input their info and save the application.

I personally dont have experience/volunteer. Do you?

Oh ok, I will get on that this weekend. I just have to complete my personal statement. No I don't have any experience or volunteer work. ? i hope that doesn't hinder our chances of getting in the program. I have an appointment with the admissions office next week. Hopefully it all goes well. Let me know if there is anything you want me to ask.

Hi thanks so much! So I sent an online transcript over to MSMU but the my app says they still didn't receive it and now the link for the online transcript is about to expire. Question is, I sent an email over to nursing admissions but I got no response for over 1.5 weeks.

Can you ask what the best method of communication is? Am I using wrong e-mail? Or is it just faster to call?

Also, when do we expect to get contact for the math exam and interviews?

Hello everyone

I still need chemistry to complete. I have completed all other pre reqs. Would i apply for the pre adn or the direct nursing program?

Also if i apply for the pre adn would that be thru the nursing application or the common application? Does anyone know?

Hi there. I think if you finished all your pre-reqs you can apply for direct nursing program. I’m not sure what type of application method it is but for ABSN, I didnt use common app. I would call or email the nursing admission office for clarification!

Yes i think I’ll call to find out. I only need chemistry to be eligible to apply to the direct nursing. They told me to apply for the pre adn program however i dont know if applying to the preAdn program is done with the same application as with the nursing application.
