Mount St. Mary ABSN Fall 2019

Hi I wanted to start this topic/group for everyone applying to Mount St. Mary's ABSN Fall 2019. Since applications are due 3/1/2019 I thought it'd be helpful to start this application journey now!

I have science courses that are still in progress till end of July which is worrying me but still worth a try! Anyone has in progress courses? How far are you in your application?

Hi I just received paper mail saying I was rejected for this fall ABSN. It just said it was competitive year. This is really sad for me.

Can I ask what you guy s specs are?

I also received a rejection yesterday - so you're not alone! My undergrad GPA (from a few years ago) was around a 3.3. But I had all A's for my prereqs except for the two sciences I have in progress... so it must be competitive! The only reason I could think of is that other applicants didn't have courses in progress still or were finishing them before summer.

I have my undergrad gpa at 3.88. And all As for my prerequisites. But I still have two science courses and three other prerequisites in progress. Guess I need to check my mail box today…… :(

Hello

when you guys mention undergrad gpa is that referring to your accumulation from all courses whether theyre pre reqs or not correct? Or is it just certain courses?

I have 3.3 reg undergrad GPA and pre req GPA is almost 4.0 BUT I have three science courses left thats not factored in yet (currently doing micrbio & anatomy and then summer im doing physio)

Anyone going to apply for next summer cohort? Thats the next term right?

Hi everyone! I too got a rejection letter today. ? The letter just said that it was a strong competition among the applicants. I have a 4.0 on all my prerequisites, but I do have 3 classes pending until June. I guess they're not taking people with pending classes. ? I will still apply to the following cohort. Good luck to everyone else!

Hey guys who’s taking the test tomorrow ? I just called and found out that it is multiple choice. That should calm some nerves.

I’m sure I made mistakes as well so you’re not alone! We are supposed to get our results in a week I think. I wonder when interview invitations will start going out...?

They had told me by the end of May. But maybe they’ll let us know when the scores come out from the test ? I’m not 100% sure.
