good morning!!!
Anyone know if Mount Sinai in NYC has any employee parking? or how much it would be around? I just accepted a job there and am not sure HOW I'm getting there! Public transportation will take approx 2 hours... I would be willing to do it but I don't know how long I will last haha....
Thanks!!

they do have discounted parking for staff. comes out to about 18$ a day/shift. If you work nights, you might be able to find street parking.

street parking at night is OK but during the day it is a nightmare. Also the commute into the city is just plain horrible. one of the guys here drives to work and he mentioned he paid $ 300 a month for his space.

Hi I have found this on the Mount Sinai website.
Off-site parking is available on a monthly basis that is supported by shuttle buses to and from the off-site facility. Please contact Security Administration at 212-241-5561 for more information.

With that being said, those parking garages probably will cost you, but I think that may be worth it if you're trying to avoid the 2 hour public commute and looking around for parking before your shift. I think a good idea would be to look around for spots on a day you're off and see how long it takes you and see if you want to decide upon garages.
