Hello,
I'm a new graduate nurse applying to Clinical Nurse positions at Mt Sinai Hospital NYC. Can anyone provide more information on these units (there is no description in the job posting):
Medicine GP10W
Med/Resp ICU GP9W
CSICU GP5C
KCC5
Does anyone know if they hire new grads on these units? Finally, is there a limit on the number of positions I can post for?
Thank you!

They strongly advised that all applicants with experience or not to apply to maximum 3 jobs at any one time. I think if u apply to more than 3 in a short time period, they may blacklist u. They don't want their inboxes filled with loads off applications from one person. So just pick 3 jobs u want and app to them then 2month later if u don't hear back u can apply to another 3 jobs

Hey estrellacr, mind if I ask where you heard this? I just applied to 7 :/. I didn't see anything about only applying to three though. I only applied to three different units bit they had multiple postings for each
It is in each posting....a sentence that states we strongly advise each candidate to not apply to more than three postings at a time. There may have been more than one posting for each unit bc they each were for different status...like full time, part time or per diem. Check all details of each posting carefully. As a new grad two years ago I tried emailing recruiting and only one replied stating that new grads jobs are extremely limited and that was the end of that. As an RN with almost 2yrs experience, several recruiters replied back stating the jobs in my area of nursing have been filled however to contact them again in a few weeks incase something opens up. What a difference! I can't post emails here however Google the recruiters and u can figure out their email address.
Thanks for the reply!! I guess I didn't read carefully enough. I'm going to try to delete some if them

What is your experience? What does your resume look like? I work at Mount Sinai. Your chances of getting a job by just applying on the Mount Sinai website is very low. You have to be creative, think outside the box, come up with a plan and carry it out. That is one of the best ways you will get a your first RN job. Contact me if you need more direction.

Then what is the best way to your résumé through in Mount Siani...is it just to carry it in? Advice please. Thanks
Carryoy it in without invitation will just get u HR rolling their eyes at u and telling u to apply online. Best way is to email it to a manager. Google them. This is from my and my class mates experience 2.5 yrs ago when we were new grads.
