Mount Sinai ABSN Summer 2020

Hi all,

Has anyone applied to and/or gotten an admission decision from Mount Sinai PSON for the ABSN program starting Summer 2020?

Hi! I actually sent an email to the school today asking if they were waiving the official transcripts requirement. Someone called me from the school and told me I'd have to get help from NursingCAS because they don't see our application until everything is verified through NursingCAS.

Not very helpful. But anyway I requested electronic transcripts to be sent. Good luck!

Does anyone know if PSON are also sending out rejection letters? LOL

She ran the school and was the only one available to help students with requests and to provide information. She is the 3rd higher faculty member to leave in a few months, and there are 2 following closely behind her. PSON is a failing institution

Hi everyone-- I was also recently just accepted into the PSON program! I see a lot of people are going to take Pharm at portage but I also heard taking it online at Cayuga community college is also a CHEAP great alternative.

For those who have heard back from PSON - once you submit through NursingCAS do you hear back directly from the school? Or do we still need to log into CAS to see any updates? Thanks!

After you apply to Nursing cas, submit your trwnceit directly to [email protected]. that's what I was told to do from Maria but she is no longer there.

I checked yesterday for Summer courses but didn't see any. Did you ? I'm currently taking pathophysiology on portage and it's actually not so bad. Pharmacology however I'm thinking of taking in person

I'm deciding whether I should take it with the school or at a community college nearby to me. Pharmacology just seems like a different ball game and I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to absorb as much as possible from an online course

Yes, I received an email from PSON requesting an interview.
