Hi, I've created a forum for all prospective students for the Fall 2024 ABSN applicant pool at Mount Saint Marys University. The most recent forum I've seen are from students applying to the Summer 24' ABSN MSMU program. Feel free to submit questions and updates on the application process ? My application is currently "under review" 

Hello everyone ! My application is also under review. Does anyone know if interviews are in person or virtual? Also, I'm trying to figure out the whole tuition thing (payment/payment plan). If anyone would be kind enough to share if you are taking out loans or how will you finance the program. My top school would be MSMU but I'm also looking into other more affordable schools. Anything helps!

Hi! So as far as hearing back I reached out to [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME] and she said that interviews are supposed to start 4/16 so we'll hear back about who got an interview any day now. My confusion is even if we don't get an interview are we still in the running to be accepted? Or are the acceptances out of those who are given an interview? I'm assuming it's the second part.  and as far as interview format I've just heard from different forums that sometimes they're in person and sometimes virtual I've also heard talk of group interviews. People seem to say that they generally ask similar questions to the essay. Best of luck everyone!! It should be any day now 🙂

Hi y'all! I'm part of last year's fall 2023 class! Interviews happened in April and acceptances came out end of April beginning of May! 

my inteview was a group interview that was virtual, and unfortunately if you don't get an interview you don't get into the program its usually their way of filtering out students

I also got an invite! I will be declining though as I have already committed to another program at a public school 😅

be yourself! they understand everyone wants to be a nurse that's why you applied, figure out the deeper meaning of why you want to be a nurse. the people I did the interview with sounded very generic with their answers so it doesn't stand out

I got an email saying my status changed but since I viewed it on my iPhone, I can not see what the status change exactly is... I may need to log onto my laptop.

Hi Guys!

I just found this forum and I am so grateful to the person who made it! I applied for Fall 2024 as well and just heard via email today around 2 PM that I received an interview! I am so excited. Does anybody have any idea if this is a group interview and what types of questions they are asking. Thanks!

Yes I did! I scheduled it for the first week, it was super easy to schedule. I'd recommend doing it now before your ideal slots fill up!
