Hi, I've created a forum for all prospective students for the Fall 2024 ABSN applicant pool at Mount Saint Marys University. The most recent forum I've seen are from students applying to the Summer 24' ABSN MSMU program. Feel free to submit questions and updates on the application process ? My application is currently "under review"

I just heard back saying that they want me to do an interview and I'm feeling kind of nervous and just want to make sure I'm fully prepared! Thanks in advance!!(:
Hi Mikail1! Congrats on getting an interview. I honestly have no idea how many applicants received interviews. As far as questions I would just make sure that you have your reason for why you want to go into nursing/a little bit about you outlined. I would also make sure you have a scenario in which you overcame conflict (specifically with another person) planned as well. Otherwise they just asked about how you're prepared to be in the program, what support you'll receive, and then they also asked what you would do in terms of the honor code and in the chance that someone is cheating. My biggest tips would be to make sure you're in a well lit room, are engaging, maintain eye contact, and you'll be just fine! Best of luck!
Hello, I am not sure if this thread is still active or if anyone will see this.
I have an overall high 3.6 GPA. I am trying to get it to a 3.7 but I am struggling in chem and might end up with a dreaded B (lolol). Definitely still chance for an A tho. I have an A in all other pre-reqs, one really strong letter of rec from a specialist nurse at Kaiser (I volunteer) as well as one from a nursing home care coordinator I volunteer with. I will be CNA certified at the time of my application.
Does anyone have any stats or tips they could share? I am really hoping for The Mount. Thank you so much in advance.
