Mount Saint Mary's ABSN Summer 2017

I recently applied to MSMU abs program for Summer 2017. I haven't seen a thread for this application process. Looking for anyone else going through this process!

Hi. Not sure if this would be any help, but when I took my math placement test, Agasia mentioned that this year they might try something new and interview all the applicants. I was also told that most likely we will find out by the end of this month. However, during my interview they said the end of February since they are still reviewing and processing applications. Maybe they are trying something new this year and not interviewing all of the qualifying applicants.

Hi everyone. I never got an interview invite. When I called today they told me if they have no questions for me I wouldn't get invited and that doesn't mean I'll be rejected. Does anyone have info on this? I'm so worried. Thank you

Thanks for the reply. Even though it makes sense, it's hard to believe that they would admit someone without every seeing them. I'm worried but I guess I just have to wait until end of Feb to see what news I'm getting. How did your interview go guys? Any news from the application process?

It sure seems like they are making a lot of changes this year. I had my interview this week and also was told that we should know all the decisions by the end of February, they said that they just started interviewing people this week. I really hope we find out sooner, the wait is killing me:nailbiting:

My interview went ok, I think :unsure: There were 3 faculty members interviewing the two of us. They were very nice and made us feel very comfortable.

What is the status on your portal guys? Mine still says "Ready to evaluate", shouldn't it say "in review" or something?

Did you take the math placement already? When I went in for my interview, it was the first day of for the interview process. So maybe you'll get an invite sometime this month! Think positive! The interview wasn't bad at all. They were really nice and friendly.

so glad more people are joining the convo! My application status says "Ready to Evaluate" it has since my math exam was complete. I really don't know how to feel about this whole application process...end of February is so much later than past processes according to the forums. I wonder why they are changing so much this year?

Ok good, so I'm not the only one with "ready to evaluate" í ½í¸€ Yes, last year everyone found out if they were accepted or not by the end of January. I guess we'll just have to be patient and stay positive! I've been checking my portal like 5 times a day though lol need to calm down:yawn:

This really gives me some hope now. I also did not receive an interview invite, I emailed the office

this week and they said that they are sending out invites in batches so I could possibly still get an invite.

Hi Everyone,

So I emailed Agasia just to get some answers and she said that admission decision letters will be mailed out the first week of February and not the end of February. Just wanted to share this with you guys since I know the wait and not knowing is driving us all crazy.

It sounds like they will be doing interviews through January so stay positive! I think there was only two days of interviews last week, maybe they are going alphabetically?
