Motlow State 2013 Hopefuls

Hi, would anyone like to start a thread on getting into Motlow State's Nursing program this fall? I wish everyone luck.

I'm just curious .... What was you GPA? I'm trying to decide if I should retake classes to boost my GPA. I want to apply for next fall.

I got into Motlow's program at the McMinnville campus. My GPA was 3.38 and I made a 90 on the HESI test.

My GPA is 3.855 and my HESI score was 90.4. I got an 'A' in A&P I, & I'm finishing up A&P II.

I have a 3.4 right now. I'm finishing up a&p this term and completing micro in the fall. I could have applied this year but financially I can't afford it so I'm going to apply next year. I was debating on retaking a class this summer to boost my GPA. I made a C in history 1 so I thought if I retake that at least my GPA would go up a little. Any thoughts or suggestions? I figure ill do LPN if I don't get in next year.

I got accepted as well and my Overall GPA is a 3.5 but my institutional GPA ( i got my pre nursing AS from Motlow ) is 3.9. And I got an 86 on my HESI. I so excited for the fall! Can't wait to meet you guys! And keep trying those who didn't get in this time! :)

It's my understanding that Motlow uses the Cumulative GPA. My GPA w/ Motlow at the end of the fall semester was a 4.0...do you think that is taken into consideration?

Motlow fall nursing students: You should check your student email. I received a flyer w/ a few items that will be available for purchase at a discounted price at the upcoming orientation. I plan on taking advantage.
