Motlow College 2015 Applicants

Hello All! I would like to start a thread on applicants for Fall 2015 for Motlow. I just took my HESI, got an 87 (not as high as I hoped) and my GPA is 4.0. This gives me a 735. Anyone else want to volunteer their grades/scores? Good luck to all!

Has anyone been signed up for classed on our student account? Does anyone know when they will do this?

White shoes: I have found tons online but I like to try them on. I have some skechers that feel fabulous, there is also some at the scrub places that felt really good as well. Not too pricey. (Like everything else).

I have already spent close to $1000 and that does NOT include tuition and all my books. I have most of them, though. YIKES! But it will be worth it.

Roll call for main campus?

Does anyone still have to take Micro? 2nd years, do you suggest doing that now or in the Spring?

I would highly suggest waiting until spring or summer to take Micro....definitely not 1st semester! You'll already have a full load with 1410 (Nursing 1), 1400 (online class), and Dosage Calc if you haven't taken that yet. Several of my classmates took the online summer class and it's fairly easy from what I've heard.

Thanks! I dropped it and will be taking it in the Spring online. 3 weeks! I am nervous. The books I ordered fit in 2 book bags??? Gulp....I am happy to have dosage calc out of the way, though!

Haha yeah...my books take up an entire shelf of my bookcase. You will NOT be bringing all of those books with you everywhere, so don't stress about that. Definitely a full bag, but not 2 ;) I bought a heavy duty L.L.Bean backpack and it's been perfect so far.

I'm starting Motlow this fall to do the Lpn to Rn nursing program, I registered Saturday for the Nursing program that begins June 2016. I went to sign up for the hesi and the date it is being given in October I will be out of town, do you know if they give it other days prior to the deadline in January or if you can take it anywhere else and will they accept it? Lots of questions and any advice appreciated. Too anxious too wait reply from nursing department.

Do you know of other Lpn to Rn programs. I was told Motlow transition program was in Tullahoma.
