Motlow 2019 applicants

Hello (: my name is Kyla

Just wondering if anybody else is applying to MSCC's 2019 nursing program? The application opens up in a couple of weeks and I have been pretty nervous...I have never applied to a nursing program before and I hear that it is pretty competitive. If anybody would like to share their experience(s) that would be awesome!

18 days until letters are supposed to go out!!!! ???

That was what I was told was the projected date when my student success advisor called the nursing program office.

The nursing info session I went to also said to start checking your email this date.

Sadly, there is no way to know what each year's cumulative scores will need to be until letters are out and people are willing to share their scores. My first time applying (4/25/17) was in the 580's. I reapplied and was accepted (4/19/18) with around 620 points. Maybe this can be a ballpark range for you.- Good luck to you and everyone.

Did you end up applying somewhere else or only Motlow? I think you mentioned you were going to apply to MTSU too, but I don't know if you did or not.

I only applied to Motlow. I know it's risky to not have a backup plan, but I would really like to go to Motlow because I have had better experiences with them than other schools I have attended. I live pretty close to MTSU so that is why I just went ahead and took the HESI there. I'm going to be extremely bummed if I don't make the cut ?

Hey guys! I am joining the waiting party. I applied to the 2 year program. I'm just now taking stats and A&P this semester, so I know my chances aren't great. But I'm still hopeful! Good luck everyone!

There is still a chance! Did you take your hesi? Maybe they have access to your midterm grades...I'm not sure how that works, but if you did well in your other classes then I'm sure you still have a shot!
