Motlow Applicants 2014

Hey everyone! Just wanted to create a place for potential Motlow Nursing students for fall 2014 to converse, ask questions, and get to know each other. Anyone out there? If so, which campus do you hope to attend? I live near Lavergne, so Smyrna campus will be my home base.

For those of you who have questions about the process over the next 6 months, I went through all of the application/acceptance/orientation/etc steps last year, but had to withdraw 3 weeks before classes started due to a financial aid fiasco...so I know what's to come and would be glad to clarify anything for you.

Yes! I checked the price for them at Amazon, and it was about $738 ( the required text books only)

Any idea if we going to study all of the them during the first semester or what?

Hi everyone! My name is Leona and I have been at the Smyrna campus since fall 2012. I was accepted to the Moore County Campus and I am looking forward to meeting people at orientation! :)

Welcome Leona! And yep...I'll be at Smyrna campus. :) But we'll all still have to travel to Moore campus quite a bit for the first semester (so I've been told), so I'm definitely up for meeting potential carpool buddies!

From the research that I did last summer, yes...Amazon is cheaper than Motlow. I haven't looked at all this year though, so I'm not sure if that's changed.

One more question.... Can we buy any shoe as long as it's all white? Does it have to be white in the bottom of the shoe as well?

I'm pretty sure they have to be all white with a white sole, and maybe leather (?) so that they're easy to clean and spill-proof. I think.

Yes I heard the same thing about the shoes. All white, white sole, and leather because if you drop a needle on mesh shoes it will go through the mesh.

Noticed many posting their scores, mine was a 737 and with that score, I was accepted into 2013, and again in 2014. Hope that helps.
