Hey everyone! Just wanted to create a place for potential Motlow Nursing students for fall 2014 to converse, ask questions, and get to know each other. Anyone out there? If so, which campus do you hope to attend? I live near Lavergne, so Smyrna campus will be my home base.
For those of you who have questions about the process over the next 6 months, I went through all of the application/acceptance/orientation/etc steps last year, but had to withdraw 3 weeks before classes started due to a financial aid fiasco...so I know what's to come and would be glad to clarify anything for you.

The instructors will register you all for your nursing courses for your first semester... You will have to go to the campus that you were accepted to... In the spring, you will register yourself and it is first come first serve for whatever campus you want.... If any of you have any questions just message me :)

Does everything we need come out of our pockets for the summer or does financial aid help with those costs? Like the drug screen, books, uniforms, Bp cuff, background check...?
You don't need to pay anything at orientation.... There will be 2 full day orientations. One in May and one in August. During one of them they will be taking orders for stethoscopes, bp cuffs, etc but you do not have to buy them that day or from that company they order from if you don't want to. If you do decide to then the money is due that day. You will also be fitted for scrubs that day but you do not have to pay for them until you pick them up... I believe all of that was during the orientation in May and the one in August was pretty much going over the calendar and syllabus for the fall semester.
