Motivational quotes that helps(ed) fellow nursing students

Published

Hello!

I am a sophomore in University at Buffalo and I am currently studying for my upcoming tests :( Does anyone have any motivational quotes that they use to go through their school day or even for tests(or stressful events)? I'm in a great need for motivation right now lol. Thanks!

"If it doesn't challenge you, it won't change you"

"Everyone must choose one of two pains: The pain of discipline or the pain of regret"

"The things you are passionate about are not random, they are your calling"

"You've been criticizing yourself for years and it hasn't worked. Try approving of yourself and see what happens"

"Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard"

Those are quotes I have written in my planner. I really love motivational quotes :)

Remember, professionals built the titanic but ametures built the ark.

If your absence doesn't make a difference, neither will your presence.

thank you so much this really did inspire me to study this morning! :)

these are great too! thanks alot!!! :)

I started my first semester, doing my nursing prerequisites. Right now my motto is "I can't stop the waves, but I can learn to surf!"

And on the wall in front of my desk where I study, I have a sticky note that says "What is your mark on this earth going to be?" for when I need a reminder of why I want to be a nurse.

Good luck to you!

Hello! I actually have a quote of the month. I put it next to my "to-do" list post-it-notes on my Mac. Hope it helps:

Quote:

Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough.

A dear coworker taped this to my computer years ago when I was really just having an awful week. It's Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.
