I'm just looking for some input on a topic for a presentation we are giving at school with emphasis on advocacy. Any suggestions?

Hey MarLynn,

Long-term care is a big issue right now for the aging population, that and the fact that most persons falsely believe that medicare pays for this cost.

Many older persons requiring long-term care are having difficulty not losing their life-long earned assests (house) because a lot of states have passed laws to recoup the costs of providing long-term care by confiscating people's homes after they die.

Just off the top of my head, in trying to find info on this subject, I'd try googling long term care insurance and aarp..???
