just curious, does anyone know if lvn's are allowed to give morphine ?

Depends on whether or not it's in your scope of practice designated by your state's BON. Here in VA they can.

I work at a nursing home and administer morphine sulfate on a daily basis.

I'm sure as long as it's not IV push, should be within your scope. You should check with your state nurse practice act.

That is a good question. I agree, though, that as long as it is not IV push, you should be able to give it, depending on what state you live in.
