I might have posted this once before, I can't remember. When I was in high school, I babysat for a family that named their girls Brandy and Sherry. I also once worked with a girl named Sapphire Blue, but was never convinced she hadn't given herself that name.

I once had a patient named Precious Jewel. but the best one I have ever heard was I guy I worked in a bar with a long long time ago. he was the 11th kid in a large family and he said his dad wanted to give him a name othat would make him tough. It was Sid E. Slicker. I made him show me is drivers license no middle name just the initial.

ooh, I'll second that!

My grandmothers maiden name was Snow. She was christened "Sunshine". although she had it legally changed as an adult, we still call her variations of it. Sunshine Snow had several sisters, among them Crystal, Rosebud and WillieMae.

Also I went to high school with a guy named Dick Baggs. how could his parents have done that to him.

One of my former pediatric patients had the middle name "euddaman"...when his daddy first laid eyes on him, he remarked "you da man!"

I for one am enjoying reading all the silly names.

I went to school with a kid named Charile Brown and work with a girl named GinSherry!

Why not just find something more to your liking, and leave the thread open to the active posters who are obviously enjoying it? It seems a bit mean spirited to request that a thread be closed solely on the basis of you not wanting it around anymore. I hope the moderators decline your request.

or maybe everyone can agree just to never, ever mention the "jello twins" in this thread again? :chuckle I've followed this thread from start to finish and it seems like every few pages someone posts about them thinking they are the very first ones to do so. But I guess when a thread grows as long as this has, you've got to expect to see some repitition.

Honestly, I love reading the funny names as well, but it's a long thread, maybe it's time to close this one and start a new one?

My uncle named his twin girls Tuesay Afternoon and Haliey Bette (not that Hailey is odd but Tuesday's middle name is awful!!)

...another interesting place to read about names is a book called, "The Name Game" and it actually talks about how your name can affect who you are and how popular, successful, liked, smart, etc. you are. Good reading, check it out.

Heard of a new mother who named her kid Earth.....pronounced "Erica". Don't ask.....

In school a knew a brother and sister named Smokey and Honey Bear. :)
