I'm sure that is a tongue in cheek response.
Concussions have been around for a long time. We are just much more aware. Kind of like Autism/Aspergers. It used to be the "odd Uncle Joe" or "crazy Aunt Mary" who lived in isolation or a very less than optimal existance, often in "State Homes", shunned by society.
I have been a school nurse for 24+ years and I shudder to think of some past students who were not given the classroom accomodations they needed, or the rest or the graduated return to play process.
I'm glad we do a better job today.

Did you replace a school nurse? If so, do you know how long she was there before you replaced her? I say her because most school nurses are "her," especially 24 years ago. I might start a new thread about this.
Yes I am the second in this position and she was here for 20 years.
