Moorpark Fall 2020

Hey everyone,

I thought I would start a thread for people applying to the Moorpark Nursing Program for fall of 2020. We can discuss/compare points, ati teas scores and anything else that we have questions about. If I'm adding my points correctly I believe I have ~82.5pts and I got an 91.3% on my ati teas test. I don't know if this amount of points is competitive or not (hoping it is). I hope to hear from other applicants. Good luck everyone!

Previous years, calls for admittance and alternate list went out on the same day(s) so I am guessing that my application was not good enough for this program.

No I haven’t received a call or heard anything. I hope they’re still making calls.

I just called and they said they are "still reviewing applications" and that we should be hearing from them "within the next few weeks"

Thank you for the update. Wonder why they informed some of the applicants so early? Still have my fingers crossed!

I think that they randomly pick a few applicants and accept those. Maybe those who have been notified are the lottery winners?

I don't understand how they let people know if they are "still reviewing applications" considering their application process is supposed to be a point system so if that's true then they aren't following the selection process they claim to use. Also those accepted said that the intent to enroll date is the 16th so how can we be hearing back "within the next few weeks" if that date is 5 days away. Something isn't adding up...

3.25gpa, 4.0 in sciences, 91.3% TEAS, I think I had ~82.5pts.
