Moorpark Fall 2020

Hey everyone,

I thought I would start a thread for people applying to the Moorpark Nursing Program for fall of 2020. We can discuss/compare points, ati teas scores and anything else that we have questions about. If I'm adding my points correctly I believe I have ~82.5pts and I got an 91.3% on my ati teas test. I don't know if this amount of points is competitive or not (hoping it is). I hope to hear from other applicants. Good luck everyone!

Are you accepting Moorpark and for sure going? I noticed on your other posts that you stated your first choices were CSUCI or SDSU but you also applied for Fresno State..

Hello, I am on the wait list for SDSU but I think that is extremely doubtful. CSUCI is my first choice but have heard nothing from them. I will either go to Moorpark or CSUCI as I can commute to those from home and therefore much more affordable. Moorpark is looking really good to me right now for a variety of personal and financial reasons.

I won't give the full phone number but it was 805-378-XXXX and the caller ID said Moorpark College. I did not get an email.

Congratulations!! Super big sigh of relief. Well now that we know calls are going out I’m going to be glued to my phone for the next couple days. Big congrats!

I should note that I was in class while they called but they left a message. SO even if you do not pick up, no worries, they will leave a message to call them back.

Congrats! Do you mind sharing your stats/points? I am beginning to worry that I have not received a call.. Does anyone know if today is the last day for acceptance calls?

I went in today to pick up my acceptance letter and a roadmap to complete before the semester starts in August. There are a couple of milestones coming up that may lead to more calls. March 16 is the last day to sign an intent to enroll. If someone misses that then they are dropped. March 30 is a new student tea and required. If someone misses that then they are dropped.

There is a bunch of stuff that has to be performed by May 4 so that could be another time when spots open up.

So hang in there!!

Ah well I will take that as a denial of acceptance considering those spots that could potentially open will be for those on the alternate list and I was not called at all.
