Moorpark College Spring 2017

Published

Hello everyone,

I couldn't find any threads for spring applicants for Moorpark's ADN program. Anyone else apply for the upcoming semester? And if so, have you taken the TEAS/been invited for the test?

Do you know if they already made all their calls?

They are still calling. When I was there, I've heard that. She didn't have a lot of envelopes with letters on the table, around 15-20, not more. I guess, they just started calling people.

Congrats! You were quick! I will sign this afternoon.

I'm in for Spring semester... I just signed my acceptance form :)

Yes, will be accepting! Will be in on Wednesday likely to sign the paper!

I was accepted too!!!! I just signed my acceptance letter. They were working still on the envelops and calls.

I'm confused. I see that they have called people (congratulations to those of you who got in), but then someone wrote a comment that there were 15-20 letters on the desk? Does that mean they're going to be mailing acceptance letters too?

I don't think so CWLVN. When you go there to sign the acceptance, they hand the acccepetance letter to you. I didn't see how many letters still on the desk, but I have a feeling that they call a certain number of people a day. If you don't mind sharing your stats, what is your score???

I'm hoping that's true. I wonder how many people they are accepting this semester. I'm fully done with all prerequisites so it's a huge stress ball for me cause I have nothing to work on right now, and I hate to work on another degree in the meantime and then have to stop that. I have the minimum gpa for science, even though I scored high for science and math, got a 73 on the teas over all. I don't have points for work experience because I just got my CNA and HHA license recently. I'm nervous cause I'm a good student, just have never been a 4.0, it's frustrating. I read that minimum students still have a chance, but they are randomly selected. We shall see. I am very excited for all who have already been called, congratulations :)

I'm in the same boat as you. My over all GPA was only 2.55 (blame it on being young and dumb). I did better on my prerequisites, but I could have done better. I did get honors from my LVN school and have work experience. I got a 80.7 on my TEAS. Honestly it's up to God's timing. Just stay positive. We can be selected as ulternates and I heard from my friend who just graduated that a lot of people drop. Not to mention that they keep your application for 2 years and could randomly call you:)

Do they send a letter telling you that you didn't get in?

I haven't checked my mail yet, not sure. Why did you get one?
