Moorpark College Spring 2017

Hello everyone,

I couldn't find any threads for spring applicants for Moorpark's ADN program. Anyone else apply for the upcoming semester? And if so, have you taken the TEAS/been invited for the test?

Micro was one that I loved the subject but didn't like my teacher and was doing way too much while trying to take it. If you can stick it out and give it your all. Even a "C" is better than amother W. Good luck

Does anyone know if you are in the random selection group, are you able to go in for the next semesters application period and update your application at all? I know Ventura College allows this to happen.

@ SC_502 Congrats on getting in to VC. What were your stats? if you don't mind me asking. how many points did you have? what was your teas score?

I had to wait a little for vc. I ended up with a 3.0 in science, 3.2 overall GPA (I messed up when I was young) and a 64 on my teas so definitely not as well as I would have liked. Did you apply to vc as well? From my understanding vc is not as hard to get into and they have the waitlist so you are guaranteed to get in you may just have to wait a couple semesters. I hope you get in soon :)

@SC_502 yes I did apply for VC, just waiting to receive my waitlist number, hoping its on the lower side. Not sure when I will find that out though

How is everyone doing in terms of getting the materials ready for submission? Also, should we start a facebook group for spring 2017 class?

Hi, can anyone send me the website to purchase the student nurse ? I cannot for the life of me find that sheet and want to make sure I purchase the right type. Also , what do we do with the N95 mask fitting questionnaire? Thanks!

Hi Cwlvn, kinda in the same boat as you...my Gpa was 2.5 also and I applied for 2017 fall program and just waiting for the invite to take the exam...did you get accepted yet? Btw I'm also an lvn.

Hi! I received a letter saying that i've Been selected randomly. Then, this week a receive a remediation letter saying that I passed teasvi test however the reading part was low. Do you have any idea what does mean for "randomly"?
