Moorpark College Spring 2017
How is everyone doing in terms of getting the materials ready for submission? Also, should we start a facebook group for spring 2017 class?

I'm assuming the reason they're not giving a definitive answer is because people are still in the process of deciding whether or not to attend. If some accepted people decide not to accept admission, then I'd think they call the next qualified person to accept to the program.

Moorpark College Spring 2017
I'm in too! The orientation is 3:30-5:30pm right? Was too excited that I wasn't paying attention.

Moorpark College Spring 2017
I'm getting anxious waiting for the results!

Is Moorpark everyone's first choice?

Moorpark College Spring 2017
I also only applied for Moorpark's program so I do hope to get in for this period. I will also add my input on the prep books I used in case anyone planning to take the TEAS runs into this thread: Mometrix: Pros: - detailed information for science section (I found the anat/physio section to be particularly useful) - english section written in a way that made it easy to understand - 3 practice tests Cons - text heavy, so its not for visual learners - reading section was not detailed enough Accepted Inc. Pros: - lots of images so its easier to understand, a plus for visual learners - sample test questions throughout the text to review the info covered - reading section was easy to undertstand and more detailed than the mometrix text Cons - anat/physio section covered the basics but I felt it was not thorough enough for the test It helps to use multiple sources to study for the test since each book covers things that other doesn't.

Yes, I think it was difficult to gauge how well the prep books were written since this version of the test is so new. Which book/books did you use to prepare for the test? I also scored better on the math and science than the english language and reading portions. I have a 89 overall score, so I'm hoping that means I get accepted into the program. Did you apply for other programs as well?

Moorpark College Spring 2017
I scored a 88 on the TEAS. I'm wondering what the average TEAS score was and the average overall score of applicants that get accepted. Is Moorpark your first choice?

Moorpark College Spring 2017
Hello, It looks like they may actually call the applicants instead (prior to mailing out acceptance letters) since the orientation is in the first week of November according to one of the test proctors. Did you score well on the TEAS? And if you don't mind me asking, what was your overall score based on the multicriteria selection process?

Moorpark College Spring 2017
Glad I found another person that applied. How did you do? And did you apply to other schools as well?

Moorpark College Spring 2017
Hello everyone, I couldn't find any threads for spring applicants for Moorpark's ADN program. Anyone else apply for the upcoming semester? And if so, have you taken the TEAS/been invited for the test?
