Hi everyone, I am in the mist of planning stages of getting information to apply to ADN programs in the fall (I'm very early, I know) . Does Moorpark add your TEAS points when tallying up the totals and deciding whether to admit or not? Overall according to their "point system" breakdown for the TEAS I am at 25 points. I also have a total of 59.5 points with all the other criteria. So 84.5 overall if I calculated correctly. Just wanted to know if they're taking just the 59.5 or adding the 25 points provided from the TEAS to make it 84.5. Thank you!

Based on the details provided by Moorpark College regarding their application process for the nursing program, it's clear that they do incorporate TEAS scores into the total points calculation for admissions. This is part of their multi-criteria selection process, which considers various factors such as GPA, academic degrees, healthcare experience, life experiences, proficiency in languages other than English, and scores on the ATI TEAS test.
Make sure to confirm all parts of your application are complete according to their guidelines, especially around the submission of official transcripts and meeting prerequisites. Good luck with your application!
