Hello all! I graduated lpn nursing school in July and have not takin my boards yet!
Money wise its difficult but its beyond that. I struggled hard core in class to pass so I feel as if its going to b e the same for the boards. Noone from my class has failed so I'm becoming a bit more positive.
Real question..what did you study..when did you study. .how long did you study.
Ive looked this up and I still do not feel confident with the old suggestions.
Im a single mom of a four year old so its hard to find time for anything. Im only working part time at 11 an hour and its not cutting it anymore
Plz help

I studied the Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-PN book. , I answered the questions in the book and the CD.. It was great ! The area that I needed most help, I then pulled out my nursing books as a refresher. I didn't use Any other books, bc the more books I studied from , the more overwhelmed I felt.. Btw I didn't take my boards until6 months later bc of financial Issues and passed first time around.. Study from one book.., read the rationales ,on the questions u got wrong .. U will do great!!
If you still have time, check with your local library to see if they have the kaplan lpn nclex book and if they do, check that out to study the strategies. It really helped me because if you dont know the answer as long as you can do the elimination or apply those strategies, you have a greater chance of picking the right answer. Go in with confidence and you will do fine. Best of luck!!

OMG, this is like a novel ... I read the whole thread and now I'm posting just to find out if you pass
In the meantime, use this link for some NCLEX 3500 questions, it is one of the things that helped me, especially for doing SATA questions:

Good luck on your exam, I am sure you will do fine. It's good to just get it done. :) I studied with friends, used my notes, and studied the books made by Pearson and Saunders-Silvestri - very helpful. Good with critical thinking and those "all answers are right" questions.
