I was just offered a job today on the L&D Unit. :yeah: Thing is, I'm 30 weeks pregnant :uhoh3: (Due 3/3/11)!! New grad orientation starts Jan 17th. I need some advice on how to work productively and not let the pregnancy affect my work performance, especially because I'm anemic. Like, shoes I should purchase, snacks I should buy, things I can do now to get my energy and stamina up (as I've been home since I graduated in July), etc. I NEED ADVICE ASAP!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, congrats on getting hired! I can't even get an interview and they don't even know I'm pregnant (26 weeks). No advice, just wanted to wish you luck!!!

what type of unit are you working on? i hope not tele....tee hee hee j/k:coollook:

Get a belly belt right now. A full support elastic back brace from motherhood maternity or babies r us. Best thirty bucks I ever spent after running around my tele floor. (I am due 03/05!)

So that means you'll be going on leave before your orientation is over. How long is your orientation? If you go on leave before your orientation is over, hopefully they can accept you back in the new grad orientation. I would ask if I were you just to make sure. Congratulations on the job and the baby:)

where did you find this? I am going crazy with no job--no interviews and I am not having a baby! How did you land this?
