Im so lost, Im getting my Associates of Science Degree with my LVN program at Platt College in Los Angeles.

I just started and I graduate in August of 2015.

I want to get my Masters and be a FNP.

But, Im finding out my school is accredited by ACCSC, and I am not seeing any universities take this as it is a vocational school.

My tuition after the school gave me three scholarships went from 40k to 12k (so you cant blame me for having an interest  it was cheap compared to other vocational schools)

whats next for me? I find this AS degree really, "plain" as I only took Algerbra/Geometry, Physics, English literature and Speech 101/102.

I feel ripped off, scammed...

Do I transition over to a lvn-rn program? if so, does that mean Ill have two associate degrees?

one in science and one in nursing? or does the extra length of school on top of my AS will turn into a BSN?

What do you recommend me to do next? I will have an ACCSC accredited AS degree. Do people even care if LVN's have degrees? Is that extra pay?

Not in southern CA. The LVN job market in the greater Los Angeles area has been in a severe glut for the past five years, so I wouldn't be surprised if it took a year or more after graduation to find your first job.

I would have conversation with the guidance counselor at the school. If you have completed general ed courses that have allowed you an associates degree, see what has to be done to get your bachelors in nursing. That you also got an LPN could be a bonus, IF you can find a job as an LPN (even per diem) while you continue your course of study.

This is apples and oranges. Your LPN may allow you to do a bridge to RN, and you seem to be at a good place in that you have some of your general ed courses down.
