Has anyone received an acceptance letter for the spring 2016 nursing program at Montgomery college?

I think you have to turn it in by October 14, which is tomorrow

I think my letter got lost in the mail! I haven't received anything and today is the last day to accept the position. I've been calling for hours to Montgomery College with absolutely no success! I am so irritated right now and have no idea what to do :(

Whatever you do, don't call the nursing office. They will bite your head off. I emailed the professor they listed in the letter to ask questions if she received my fax, she responded an with an automatic out-of-town response and listed a number to call. Called the number, got the nursing office, and the lady ripped me a new one saying they don't handle any of that. If I knew the number in the email was the nursing office obviously I wouldn't have called it. Sheesh

Acheiver67 mine came super late on Saturday. And with Columbus Day I wouldn't be surprised. Call the admissions office and your post office and see what they say

people at the nursing office are rude and terrible at their jobs. I went to Spring 2015 and failed Nurs113 so I had to wait until Spring 2016 to get accepted again. Nurs113 is a 7 credit class which include once a week clinical. The lecture isn't bad about 3 hours once a week, but it is a lot of information. FYI the slides they give you have about 50% of what they lectured in class, so it is best to not miss a single class. Nurs114 is fun but soo boring. Nurs121 is okay. In Nurs121, you get a 5 point quiz every week then end of the semester you will get tested on a HEAD to TOE which is worth the majority of your grades. Also they have this stupid grading system where you must get 75% on homework/classwork AND 75 % on exams. This semester they will assigned everyone classes so we cannot pick like Spring 2015 did. Any questions feel free to ask!

wait... so if they assign me to take 8AM class, I have to take it at that time? fml

do we have to go to school like every day (M-F) and how many credits do we take in first semester as a full time?

I hope I get an early schedule. I rather get my classes out of the and be able to still go to work. Is anyone taking a cpr class on November 7 at Rockville?

I went to takoma Park twice a week. I had NURS113 every tuesday and the cohort that belongs with that was NURS114 and NURS121 which is every friday. But yeah you have no choice in the matter of your schedule. NURS113 is 7 credit, NURS114 is 1 credit and NURS121 is 1 credit. These 9 credits are considered full time but you must fill out a paper from financial aid. The whole nursing program is a mess. I almost failed NURS121 because the professor who just got hired had 0 idea of what she was doing. Docucare is a pain in the ass.. OH when they introduced that DR. Davis will be scheduling your schedules she goes "nursing school should be your number 1 priority" she basically does not want people to work.

Hey everyone. All Summer I have been on this website looking for a new forum for MC's Spring semester starting in 2016. I'm glad to see who all made it (even though there aren't many people in the forum). I too got in! Hope to see everyone at the Orientation next week!
