  1. Any tips on critical condition thinking and how to think like a nurse
  2. Yes I do all the homework and cares plans. I don't normally change my answer buts I am always stuck between two answers so I guess I always pick the wrong one
  3. For me whenever I take an exam and I get to a question I do not know I automatically feel like I failed. I kinda just give up on the exam. I think it's a little of both test anxiety and lacking nclex test taking skills.
  4. Yes. I do and it's so frustrating because the second time I read the question I normally get it right. But when I go and take the exam the next time I feel like I'm having the same problem
  5. I just recently got a fundamental success book so about 50 questions on each chapter in total including the questions in the back of textbook. I do fine on them but I feel like they do not compare to the ones on the exam
  6. Thanks for the post! Do you have any advice? I study the concept over but when I comes to interventions and assessing I always pick the wrong answer
  7. I am currently failing fundamentals. I decided to stick it out and try harder for the third and final exam but I failed the third exam. My school requires a 75% and I'm so close. It's not that I don't know the material because I do but it's the way the questions are being asked and the interventions and priorities is what throws me off. It's too late for me to drop so I have to stay and just take the failing grade. I would like to try agin but I feel discouraged, how can I fail the first semester of nursing school. Maybe I'm not cut out of it? But i will have to wait a whole year to apply again. Any suggestions?
  8. So does anyone know what the Taylor clinical nursing book is for? I've been only using the health assessment and fundamental for nursing.
  9. So does anyone know what's due? Should we do the homework we received during orentation and the coming week? Lol the schedule is so confusing and overwhelming! I officially have no classes this week.
  10. Wait so the student pre check results were also due the 15? Omg I have not turned in the results! Has everyone already done so? Is there a penalty?
  11. What do we do after we complete the drug test at labcorp? Do they need anything else? Or will they automatically get the information.
  12. I bought mine from Amazon
  13. Hello guys. So I called the book store and emailed prof.matthews, the bundle only includes the fundamentals of nursing book, docucare and the Taylor point. I don't think I will buy the bundle because it does not have everything. I bought everything on Amazon for 400 but then Taylor course point which you can find on their website for 150 since it is just a software (access code). Hope this helps. If anyone knows anything please let me know
  14. Does anyone have an idea what books come with the package? What books are mandatory? Can we buy used? Or have any idea when our uniforms come in?
  15. Hi guys! Does anyone know what happens if your medical form is missing anything or something is wrong? We don't start clinical until a month in the semester. Would you be notified if something is wrong?
