montgomery college (MC) nursing fall 2021

Hello fellow students! I've created this forum for people who have submitted their fall nursing school application for fall 2021 at Montgomery College in takoma Park, MD and are currently waiting to hear of their acceptance or denial into the program. Anyone out there waiting with me? How many times did you have to take the TEAS exam? I know that I've had to take the exam 2x due to my reading score being 63.  Let's chat!

I applied for Fall 2021 in January and I am so anxious too! I check my email DAILY LOL it is alllllllllmost June so we don't have to wait much longer. I took the TEAS twice. My overall score was too low the first time around & the second time it was at 66 so I am praying they accept me with the minimum score. My science GPA is 3.0, TEAS reading was 80% & I have a prior degree in General Studies ?‍♀️ Hby?

Welcome Alexsandria! Hey Andrea! Yes!—— I am transfer student from PGCC. I’ve done my prereqs and I’ve taken the TEAS 2x (overall 69.3%)to improve my reading score to a 70%. My science GPA is 3.0. I wonder why it’s so hard to find other students who applied for fall.

 I am very anxious too and this waiting period is killing me!! I know right I don’t know anybody who applied for fall except for you two which I am glad knowing that it’s not only me who’s nervous ?

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.

One is to create a facebook page.  This link is allowed to be posted.

The other is to create a "Club" within the site, by clicking on the Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.

Any other references or links posted are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.

A friend of mine also applied for fall! We met in Microbiology so I now know 3 people who will be in fall. I can't find anything on the program. I am curious to know what first semester will be like. I know that they pick your classes for you, but do they pick times too? Do we start clinicals immediately? How far do they go in in miles from your home for hospitals? SO many questions.

Yes! My sentiments exactly! I’m sure we will find out soon enough! I’d like to know what to expect early so I can plan and prepare my family. Fingers crossed!
