Montgomery College, how long?

I sent in my application for the fall at Montgomery College today. The deadline is March 1st. Does anyone know about how long I can expect to wait before I get an answer?

oh, ok. That makes sense. FOr some reason I thought it was a class we had to take, or a certification.

Orientation: allow up to 3hrs

Registration: allow up to 4 hrs. Also for M-Z (on 07/28), it's @ 8am.

wow, that is long. Am I counting my hens before they hatch if I start trying to find sitter arrangments? Or is that jinxing myself. :-)

I don't think it's jinxing...better to have more time to make arrangements. I find it odd that I was the only one to get a letter today and it's started to make me nervous...

It isn't a mistake Kristian. You should be proud and excited. Please don't let my nerves and anxiety overshadow your good fortune. Enjoy the good news and go out and celebrate. You get to have a nice relaxing 3 day weekend now.

My husband took the kids to DCA to greet some WWII veterans landing this morning. So I have the house to myself, which never happens. So I am happy about that. But I feel like I have to stay home in case the mailman comes. I'd love to get out for a bit.

There is no reason why they shouldn't accept me (unless there was a mistake or something was overlooked on my part). I had an 85% overall on the TEAS and a 4.0 GPA in science. I've done all the prereqs and graduated cum laude with my BA. I'm just being paranoid.

That really sucks that you can't register until you go to that registration session you mentioned. I kind of already "picked" the classes that would work best for my family's schedule. I'm married but I go by my maiden name which starts with a "P". Maybe I should quickly change it to my married name which would begin with an "I" so I could register sooner! Lol j/k...but I hope they let you choose your own instead of placing you. I called my mom and told her to stay alert and looking for the mailman today! I hope we hear something today so we don't have to stress about it all weekend. Good luck Nikki! :)

I wonder how many applicants there were for how many seats? I heard that they were having trouble finding enough qualified applicants in the past, which is why they extended the application deadline. Not sure if this is true or not though...

I'm really nervous now. I've already been rejected from MD; if I don't get into MC I have no other backup other than to re-apply for the spring.
