Here is our new thread ladies (Nikki, Andrea, Kristian, Marissa...and whoever else will be starting at MC this fall).
Forgot to mention that I got stung by a yellow jacket around 7:00pm tonight when I took my dog out for his walk. We go to this field right next to our house...I've been taking him there every night for the last almost 9 years and NEVER had a problem. I was wearing flip flops, but it IS 100 degrees outside! I bent down to pick up his stuff, tied up the bag, next thing I know...EXCRUCIATING pain in my foot!! I seriously thought I had cut my toe wide open or something. When I looked down I saw the nasty sucker fly away. Not to mention, this is my first bee sting EVER...I am so useless right now, I feel so bad for my son lol. I'm alternating gauze soaked with apple cider vinegar and baking soda with an ice pack and Neosporin. I took an anti-histamine AND some ibuprofen but it is STILL throbbing and feels like it's on fire when I take the ice pack off for more than a few minutes...

Just ordered my backpack and the Timex watch. I think all I need now is the student nurse kit from reddingmedical.com...

...and my shoes and uniform(s). If I only do 1 clinical day per week, I'll probably just get 1 uniform; but if I do 2 clinical days per week, then I'll want to get 2.
What all else do you girls need to get?
